Founded in Denver in 1865, the Denver Turnverein is the oldest organization of its type in Colorado. We are affiliated with the national American Turners organization, started by German immigrants fleeing war torn Europe in 1848. Turnvereins sprang up around the US to promote social activities, physical fitness, and healthy minds.

West Coast Swing Sunday 6:30- 9:30 pm, lessons available at 5:30 pm
Ballroom Monday 7-10 pm, lesson available at 7 pm
Argentine Tango Tuesday 6:30-10:30 pm, lessons available
Salsa Wednesday 7-10:30 pm, free lesson with dance admission
Country Thursday Dance 7:30-10 pm, lessons available at 6:30 pm
Lindy Hop Friday 7-11 pm, free lesson
Ballroom Most 2nd & 4th Saturdays 8-11 pm, lesson at 7 pm
Turnverein members pay reduced prices. Guests and prospective members welcome. Come dance with us! No partner needed.
Dance Shoes: Please bring shoes that will not scuff or mark the floor. We ask that you help protect our beautiful floor by changing shoes in the foyer.
Parking: We have off street parking around the building and an arrangement to use the Fillmore lot directly south of the building when there is not a Fillmore event. You can also obtain a permit to use a lot one half block away but you must pick up a one night permit in our lobby before you park or from our parking attendant on Fillmore concert nights..
